Chair – Sandra White
Sandra White is an experienced Accounting and Finance Manager with a strong background in financial management, accounting operations and business support. Throughout her career, she has developed a reputation for delivering accurate and effective financial reporting, strengthening financial processes and providing clear insight to support sound strategic decision-making. Her experience enables her to bring a practical, commercially focused approach to governance, ensuring organisations have the financial foundations they need to operate effectively and achieve sustainable growth.
Alongside her professional career, Sandra has a strong commitment to supporting charities, community organisations and initiatives that make a meaningful difference to people’s lives. She is passionate about using her professional skills and experience to support organisations that have a positive social impact.
As Chair and Trustee of Big Bocs Bwyd, Sandra is committed to helping the charity build a strong and sustainable future. She is particularly passionate about supporting initiatives that address food poverty, improve community wellbeing and ensure that resources are used effectively to achieve the greatest possible impact. Through collaborative leadership, strong governance and sound financial management, Sandra is dedicated to helping Big Bocs Bwyd continue to grow and support communities across Wales.
Vice Chair – James Goodall
James Goodall is an experienced senior commercial leader with extensive expertise in business development, strategic partnerships, sales leadership and organisational growth. His career has focused on developing strong relationships, identifying new opportunities and creating sustainable growth across the mobility and fleet sector.
As Regional Sales Director for Wales & South West, James brings a wealth of commercial experience and a strong understanding of partnership development. He is passionate about working collaboratively with organisations and individuals to create opportunities that deliver lasting value, while ensuring that commercial success goes hand in hand with positive social impact.
Outside of his professional role, James is committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen communities and create opportunities for people to thrive. He has a particular interest in social mobility, education, community development and grassroots sport across Wales.
As Vice Chair and Trustee of Big Bocs Bwyd, James is passionate about helping tackle food poverty, reduce food waste and improve access to food and learning opportunities. He is committed to using his commercial experience, networks and leadership skills to help the charity develop its reach and build stronger, more resilient communities across Wales.
Trustee – Janet Hayward OBE
Janet Hayward OBE is the founder of Big Bocs Bwyd and a passionate advocate for the transformative power of food, education and community. With a distinguished career in education, Janet has dedicated much of her professional life to improving outcomes for children and families and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
As Headteacher of Cadoxton Primary School, Janet developed the first Big Bocs Bwyd, transforming an innovative idea into a practical and community-focused initiative. What began as a simple response to local need has grown into a wider network supporting schools, families and communities across Wales.
Janet brings extensive experience in educational leadership, community engagement, partnership working and system-wide change to her role as a Trustee of Bwyd Bob Amser. She understands first-hand the challenges faced by families experiencing food insecurity and the wider impact this can have on children’s wellbeing, learning and life chances.
As a founding Trustee, Janet remains passionate about the continued development of Big Bocs Bwyd and its vision for creating communities where everyone has access to good food, knowledge, dignity and opportunity.
Trustee – Hannah Cogbill-Davies
Hannah Cogbill-Davies is a passionate Trustee of Big Bocs Bwyd who is committed to leadership, personal development and creating meaningful, lasting change. She believes strongly in the potential of individuals and communities and is driven by a desire to help create opportunities that enable people to grow, contribute and thrive.
Hannah believes that positive change is built through collaboration, kindness and action. She brings an enthusiastic and people-focused approach to her role as a Trustee, valuing the importance of listening to others, sharing ideas and working collectively towards a common purpose.
She is passionate about continuous learning and embraces opportunities to develop her own leadership skills while supporting and encouraging those around her. For Hannah, effective leadership is not simply about achieving results; it is about inspiring others, building confidence and creating an environment where people feel empowered to make a difference.
Through her work with Big Bocs Bwyd, Hannah is committed to supporting the charity’s vision, strengthening communities and helping address the challenges faced by families experiencing food insecurity. She is proud to contribute to an organisation that puts people, community and positive social change at the heart of everything it does.
Trustee – Tracie Greening
Tracie Greening is the owner of ATG Site Services, a South Wales-based business specialising in shipping containers, container conversions and a wide range of site services. Through her business, Tracie has developed extensive practical experience in delivering bespoke solutions and transforming spaces to meet the needs of different organisations and communities.
Tracie has been a proud supporter of Big Bocs Bwyd since its inception and has played an important role in helping turn the charity’s vision into a practical reality. Working alongside the Big Bocs Bwyd team, she has supported the transformation of shipping containers into welcoming, functional community hubs that provide a valuable resource for children, families and local communities.
Her involvement reflects her strong commitment to supporting local communities and using her skills and business expertise to create positive social impact. Tracie understands the importance of practical partnership and is passionate about helping organisations develop spaces that are accessible, useful and capable of making a lasting difference.
As a Trustee, Tracie brings her practical knowledge, entrepreneurial experience and long-standing connection with Big Bocs Bwyd to the charity. She is committed to supporting its continued growth and helping communities across Wales benefit from the opportunities these unique community hubs provide.
Trustee – Wendy Thomas
Wendy Thomas has extensive experience across education, having worked as a teacher, headteacher and adviser in both the UK and overseas. She currently serves as a Director of The Learning Partnership Wales, where she continues to contribute her expertise and experience to improving educational outcomes and supporting schools and communities.
Wendy first became involved with Big Bocs Bwyd when the initiative was established at Cadoxton Primary School. Having witnessed its development and impact from an early stage, she has continued to support its vision and now serves as a Trustee of the charity, Bwyd Bob Amser.
A strong advocate for food education, Wendy believes that food literacy should form an important part of curriculum design and children’s wider learning. She recognises the significant benefits that growing, preparing, cooking and learning about food can have on children’s confidence, health, wellbeing and understanding of the world around them.
Wendy is particularly passionate about the way food can bring people together and create stronger connections between schools, families and communities. Through her role as a Trustee, she is committed to helping Big Bocs Bwyd continue to develop its educational and community impact, ensuring that children and families have the knowledge, skills and opportunities they need to thrive.
